Fence

Used to be that all fields were fenced so that cattle could be turned out after harvest to feed off the leftovers. It’s not as common a sight as it once was, and I don’t think this fence would hold in much anymore.

    Most of our fences look like that, so we have to run electric wire around all the fields we turn the cows into. Huge pain! But cheaper than new fences!

    jessica – we rely on a lot of electric fence around here! You’re right about it being a huge pain – blog post about that coming tomorrow 🙂
