I got a new camera!
My sweet husband had the opportunity to sell one of his guitars. I didn’t want him to do it. I’m sentimental that way. I envisioned one of the kids wailing on it someday. And it had pink fingernail polish drips down the back of it, from when the girls were little. But when he started referring to the guitar as “she”, as in “she deserves to be with someone who will appreciate her and play her more than I have the last few years”…I acquiesced.
So he handed me the check and asked, “Will this cover that new camera you’ve been wanting?”
What do you know…it did! Thank you, honey. I have so much to learn.
wow, very cool camera. i went to amazon and read all the reviews and features of that thing. man am i jealous. we have the powershot SD550 and really like cannon. there is one thing i couldn’t glean from the reviews. can you adjust the plane of focus? an example might be a shot of a flower about 5 feet away. the foreground and aft-ground wouldn’t be in focus but the flower and it’s respective plane of focus would be sharp.
So cool, K! We must have a “welcome home” party for the camera! Name the time & place and I’ll be there. Can you see how green I am right now (camera envy)? Congrats!
WOW! Now there is something to be thankful for… such a generous hubby! Cool pics too!!
Karl – I would need to actually know what I’m doing with this camera to answer that. I’ll get back to you :)Lisa – a new camera is the perfect excuse for a party! Good idea :)Stacie – yes, my husband is a keeper. I’m going to give him even more good press in tonight’s post…stay tuned!
Very nice camera, and a very generous husband! My name is Veronika, and I was googling “Thankful” for my entry on my blog when I came accross your blog. Just wanted to say, “Hi” instead of lurking-:)
Hi Veronika! So glad you stopped in and said Hi 🙂
