Our farm is bordered on the west by train tracks. Living less than a mile from the grain elevator as we do we see at least one train a day, more during certain seasons.

    For our first two years of marriage, my wife and I lived right next to some train tracks carrying traffic in and our of Milwaukee. We got so used to the noise, the only reminder we had was the occasional candle vibrating off the shelf. 🙂
