Canada geese on the creek
Chickens out and about
MUD! My least favorite.
But soon there will be my most favorite signs – babies! Piglets, calves, and chicks to come.

I just came over after reading your comment over at Roundrock Journal. I wanted to see your snow. I’ve read a few of your posts here and enjoyed them immensely. You are a wonderful writer. I particularly love what you did with the meme. I laughed out loud. Sorry to hear about your famous chicken. She was such a pretty thing. I remember reading about her last year when she was up for the part in the movie. I think I read about it over at Rurality. Hope things warm up for you soon.
Be grateful for your mud as it means your soil holds water for at least a little while. Here on the sand ridge even the hurricanes couldn’t make a muddy place for more than about a day or so.We’re sending these winter birds back to you as we’re done with them for the season. {laughing}…..Alan.
Hey, are you a lover of animals. My parents and I in india have had one animal or the other in our house all the time. That you have geese, hen etc on your farm tempts me to keep a few farm animals as well. My parents are now old and I do not live with them. The places you have shown are beautiful and I must say that it is nice of you to post these pictures.
I won’t rub in our weather :)But it sounds like Spring is on it’s way … and new life! My favorite part of Spring. My friend in WI will have baby lambs here soon …
come on spring!
Those photographs tell me just one thing and that is that I should visit Canada . What a beautiful sight! Would be great to be able to live in these surroundings. Thank you for these pictures!
