It’s a good thing we have nice cats.
Before we moved our new pullets from the garage to the newly cleaned coop on Sunday we’d been giving them a little bit of freedom to range right outside the garage.
Sandy found them quite interesting, but fortunately not too interesting.

It will be interesting to see what our cats think of chicks when we get them.
Cute! Curious cats!
Most farm cats have had a good peck on the head at some point and that makes them think thrice about messing with chickens.
Christy – we’ve only ever had trouble with one cat. She ate 3 of our 4 Silkie chickens one Sunday morning while we were at church. She got re-homed to my parents’ farm!
