Sunday Morning

This was the scene that greeted me when I walked out of the house early Sunday morning to feed the broilers. Sunshine. A rare thing this May. We’ve had only 4 days of it so far this month. See the tiny corn plants coming up in rows?

    This looks like pure Heaven to me! Love your blog — love reading about farm life. I am so envious! Oh, were it not for having to earn a living — I would definitely be a country girl!

    In contrast, we’ve only had one day of rain in… forever! Exactly the opposite of last year.

    I love the beautiful, symmetrical rows. There’s a cornfield that I’m photographing as the season progresses….so that people can watch the corn grow…and there’s something called the “Corn Cam” where you can watch corn grow 24 hours a day!
